Yes, you can make digital aesthetic notes by using your iPad or tablet, laptop, and sometimes your phone.
I don’t usually recommend keeping handwritten notes as they appear to be smaller, and they are harder to read and write.
Mobile phones are best option if you only track down to-do lists or important stuffs that you want to do in a day.
The best thing to take digital notes is through your computer or a tablet.

How I take aesthetic notes?
Here are the five things to keep in mind when taking aesthetic notes:
- Be simple but creative.
- Focus on your notes.
- Don’t overcrowd with texts.
- Have a theme.
- Add diagrams.
Be simple but creative
When I take notes, I always emphasized the context rather than the elements that’re placed in my notes.
I usually have a template to follow to make things in structure and organized.
Focus on your notes
It all happen sometimes that you get too overwhelmed to add elements to your notes.
And that’s normal!
It really is overwhelming in the first place.
Be sure to focus on your notes as this is the most important thing of what you are doing.
Don’t overcrowd with texts
When taking notes, be it on your notebook, tablet, or computer be sure to only write things that are really important and will help you better understand of you are studying about.
Avoid writing down stuffs that won’t really add value to what you’re reviewing.
Have a theme
This is the time where we want to make our note a bit fancier.
You can choose to decide which theme how your aesthetic notes would look like.
One of my favorite themes I usually do when writing notes is that I always wanted to have this little squiggles right at the edge or at the bottom of the paper.
I don’t know why but I love to do it.
Also, please minimize your color options to maximum of three.
I don’t like seeing my notes covered with too much color as I often get too much of its attention rather than the notes itself.
I am a big fan of adding cute drawings and diagram to my notes.
If you are studying about cells, you can add a simple cell graphic in your notes.
Add labels to it if needs to be labeled.
This is one of the tricks I know to fully understand the whole topic.
Aesthetic notes are always fun to do. It is one of my stress-reliever after a hectic schedule of classes.
Now, that you’ve already know how to make aesthetic notes, don’t forget to overcomplicate things.
It should not be taken so seriously when doing it.
